Liverpool atau Manchester City yang Jadi Juara?
Sunday (12/5) night WIB tomorrow, the Premier League will
play the final match of the 2018/19 season which will decide who deserves to be
the champion. There are two candidates who are equally strong: Manchester City
and Liverpool. Both of them still have a chance to lift the prestigious trophy.
Man City is superior. They are top of the table with 95
points from 37 matches. The defending champion only needs to reach full points
to finally win the trophy. So, Liverpool cannot be underestimated. The Reds
trailed second with 94 points.
Both teams will face the final test that is not easy. Man
City travel to Brighton headquarters, Liverpool host Wolverhampton. On paper,
Man City and Liverpool are championed as winners, but football always
surprises.
Ahead of these two intense matches, the two coaches also
collided mentally. Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp express firm sentences to
suppress opponents
First, from Jurgen Klopp. The Liverpool boss hopes Brighton
can do something. Man City will face a difficult task, home to Brighton is
never friendly to the visitors. Klopp believes no one can guarantee with
certainty the victory of Man City.
"We will see what Brighton is doing. Everyone thinks we
will beat Wolves and from what I hear, everyone also believes Man City will
beat Brighton, but I think Brghton has shown a shocking reaction against
Arsenal," Klopp told Sky Sports.
"The match was impressive and not without pressure,
Brghton could play slick football. They knew that against Man City they had to
survive a lot."
Man City boss Pep Guardiola realizes his team is much more
depressed in the last game. He believes Man City only needs to play as usual.
Namely playing to score lots of goals and win.
"The pressure is there, but it's good. We play for
something unique, to win the Premier League. It's worth it once in a lifetime,
imagine twice in a row," Pep said.
"The players must feel the pressure, must be nervous,
must know that the game will be difficult. They must do what they have done in
these two seasons."
